Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, General Insurance

Jon Hancock is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of General Insurance. He leads AIG’s three business segments: North America Commercial Insurance, International Commercial Insurance and Global Personal Insurance, and AIG’s Claims organization and Chief Underwriting Office.

Previously, Mr. Hancock led AIG’s International Commercial Insurance and  Global Personal Insurance businesses. Mr. Hancock served as CEO of International General Insurance from June 2020 to December 2023.

Before joining AIG, he was the Director of Performance Management at Lloyd’s of London from 2016 to 2020 with responsibilities including oversight of performance and risk management globally across the Lloyd’s market.

Prior to Lloyd’s, Mr. Hancock spent 26 years at RSA in roles of increasing responsibility, including Managing Director, UK Commercial, which included RSA’s European Specialty businesses, Chief Executive Officer, Asia and Middle East, and Global Broker Relationship Director.
