AIG believes that our making available links to publicly accessible web pages is legally permissible and consistent with the common, customary expectations of those who make use of the Internet. Any such third-party sites likely set forth specific terms of use and privacy policies that you should review. 

3.3 The Website may contain social bookmarks which are provided to you to post links to the Website on your social media account(s) in order to bookmark or share website pages with your social media contacts. For information on the handling of your personal information when using these social media platforms, please refer to the respective social media platform’s privacy policy. Any comments or activity made by or carried out by persons on social media platforms using social bookmarks is not controlled, endorsed or monitored by AIG and AIG shall not be responsible or liable for such. Persons who share AIG communications via social bookmarks are not authorized to speak for or represent AIG and their views and opinions must be regarded as strictly their own.

4.1 While AIG uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the Website, errors or omissions sometimes occur. AIG reserves the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you and, in such case, you agree to cooperate with AIG in the defense of such matter. You agree not to settle any matter without the prior written consent of AIG.

6.1 The Website and all information and functionalities contained therein are not directed at or intended for use by any person resident or located in any jurisdiction where the distribution of such information or functionality is contrary to the laws of such jurisdiction. Unless otherwise expressly set forth herein, AIG makes no representation that materials on the Website are appropriate or available for use in any location. 6.3 Any materials accessible through the Website relating to surplus lines products are intended for use solely by properly licensed surplus lines producers.

You acknowledge that any software which may be available or provided to you on the Website may contain technology that is subject to strict controls pursuant to export control laws and regulations of the United States of America and other countries and jurisdictions. You hereby agree that you will not transfer or export such software in violation of such applicable export control laws and regulations. AIG does not authorize the downloading or exportation of any software or technical data from the Website to any jurisdiction where such activity is prohibited by export controls laws and regulations.

These Terms of Use are to be construed in accordance with and governed by the internal laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law provisions. Sole and exclusive jurisdiction for any action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms of Use shall be in an appropriate state or federal court located in the County of New York, State of New York and the parties unconditionally waive their respective rights to a jury trial. 

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between us with respect to the subject matter addressed herein, and govern your use of the Website, materials on the Website, and software.  These Terms of Use supersede all prior understandings or agreements between us relating to such subject matter. No delay or failure by AIG to take action or exercise any rights under these Terms of Use or applicable law shall constitute a waiver thereof. If any portion of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections of the Terms of Use will remain in effect. The section headings are for convenience only and do not have any force or effect.
